Clean Water
Ocean/Swimming : Things are going just swimmingly at most NC beaches. The beach water quality report by the National Resources Defense Council found that North Carolina beaches are among the cleanest in the country. The latest report of testing shows Ocean Isle Beach’s water to be among the cleanest in the country. Good news for swimmers (and parents) ! The ocean water has been tested for years in front of The Winds (just 25 houses down from our home) throughout each summer with no sign of any pollution. Isn’t it reassuring to know that the ocean water that your family plays in is that clean ?
Drinking Water : Unlike some beaches you may have been to in the past, the drinking water at Ocean Isle Beach tastes good. Additionally, we leave a PUR water filter pitcher in the refrigerator at our home for your use and convenience. So, no need to buy expensive bottled water ! For a copy of the latest Brunswick County water quality report, please visit www.brunswickcountync.gov/utilities/reports/
